FACULTY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME REPORT 2025

Resource Person:- Dr. K.S. Sajan, Asst.prof.NSS Training College, Ottapalam
Mahajubilee Training College, Mulloorkara successfully conducted a Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on 27th May 2025 with the objective of enhancing the academic and professional competencies of the faculty members. The event commenced at 10.00 a.m. with a solemn prayer led by Ms. Soumya E., Assistant Professor, MJTC.
Welcome Address :- The welcome speech was delivered by Dr. Chacko Chiramel, Principal, MJTC, who warmly welcomed the resource person, faculty members, and participants. He emphasized the importance of continuous professional development in the context of evolving educational paradigms.
Technical Session:- The technical session was conducted by Dr. K. S. Sajan, Assistant Professor, NSS Training College, Ottapalam. The session was highly informative and covered a wide range of contemporary topics pertinent to teacher education and institutional development.
Key Topics Discussed: New NAAC Criteria and related developments.
Strategies and processes for effective AQAR submission.
Importance and methods of digital documentation.
Integration and use of Learning Management Systems (LMS).
Techniques and tools for e-content creation.
Implementation of self-study courses.
Structuring and organizing Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs).
Encouraging paper presentations and academic publishing.
Utilization of Artificial Intelligence tools in teaching and learning.(MAGIC SCHOOL,CHAT GPT etc.)
Guidelines for publishing books with ISBN.
Digital lesson planning methodologies.(QR Code making, Attachments etc.)
Use of online learning platforms like SWAYAM and others.
Interactive Session:- An interactive session followed the presentation, during which participants actively engaged with the resource person, shared their experiences, and posed relevant questions. Constructive suggestions and feedback were shared regarding the adoption of innovative practices and digital tools in academia.
Vote of Thanks:- The event concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Ms. Deepa M.J., Assistant Professor, MJTC, who acknowledged the efforts of the organizing team, the resource person, and all participants for making the event a success.
Conclusion:- The national anthem marked the official end of the programme. The Faculty Development Programme provided a platform for meaningful academic exchange and empowered educators with updated knowledge and skills essential for their professional growth.
